Accessible only by crossing a lake by boat or attempting to swim or wade through it, the Phantom's lair is where the Phantom lives. An organ is there for him to play as well as many other odd things that many may find inexplicable.

One of Erik's inventions. He created this at first for the amusement of the Sultana before his life was threatened and he fled, joining the gypsies in carnivals, and eventually came to the Opera House. Within it are mirrors shaped like an octagon in which the iron tree (which has a rope hanging for the "patient" to end his suffering) reflects and makes it seem as an equitorial forest. The electric heating comes and raises the temperature, leading to disillusionment of the senses and extreme thirst.
